ExcelenciaExcelencia in Education accelerates Latino student success in higher education by linking research, policy, and practice and by promoting education policies and institutional practices that support Latino student achievement.

We serve our mission of accelerating Latino student success in higher education through four core strategies, 1) expanding knowledge through research, 2) building public will for institutional and policy change, 3) applying action through programs, and 4) equipping higher education to excel.  Through its programs, initiatives, events, and publications, Excelencia in Education works with leaders to expand and promote replication of effective public policies and institutional practices to accelerate Latino student success in higher education.

Excelencia in Action Network connects and mobilizes college, universities and organizations working to increase Latino student success, and all students’ success in higher education

Examples of Excelencia is the only national, evidence based initiative that identifies, honors and promote programs and departments at the forefront of increasing academic opportunities and improving achievement for Latino students at the associate, baccalaureate, and graduate levels.
