College For Every Student (CFES) is the only national nonprofit organization that works with both urban and rural low-income youth to help them gain access to and succeed in college. By working directly with K-12 schools, CFES helps educators create and implement a plan that uses three core practices – Mentoring, Leadership Through Service, and Pathways to College – that research has proven effective in helping students become college ready. Over the last five years, 95% of the CFES Scholars in grade 12 have gone on to college.
• GET INVOLVED! You can help CFES Scholars in your area by becoming a mentor! Mentors provide guidance and support, help students build self-confidence, and assist with gaining college knowledge. Mentoring helps students succeed, achieve, and graduate from high school and pursue higher education. Contact us directly for more information.
